Paulette passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 5, 2010, at the age of 61, after a courageous fight with cancer. Few people have lived with more passion, love and creativity than Paulette, who gave her whole self to each person and every experience in her life. A gifted potter and pottery teacher, Paulette freely shared her gifts with others. She will be greatly missed by her family and her many friends, but her spirit and art will continue to inspire all whose lives she touched. Paulette is survived by her husband and best friend, Kenneth James Harris; her loving children, Robert, James and Deborah; daughter-in-law, Debbie; son-in-law, Kevin; and granddaughters, Hailey and Adelyn. Her family would like to thank everyone who showed their love and support to Paulette throughout her life. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, December 11, at 11 a.m. at the Catholic Community of St. Jude, 801 N. Bridge St., DeWitt. The Rite of Committal will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Lansing. The family will receive friends at the Gorsline-Runciman Funeral Homes, 205 E. Washington St., DeWitt, on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. with a Scripture service being read at 7 p.m. The family will also receive friends on Saturday at the church 1-hour prior to the service.
