Born May 23, 1930, the daughter of Gerald and Mary (Riling) Miller, passed away September 21, 2012 at the age of 82. Mary was formerly from Lansing, MI and Philadelphia , PA. She graduated from Little Flower Catholic High School, in Philadelphia, PA . Nursing was her passion.She was a R.N. in the mid 1950's in Abington Memorial Hospital, in Philadelphia, spanning many states and disciplines, and retired at age 65 from St. Lawrence Hospital, Lansing, Michigan. Mary was a longtime member of St. Gerard Catholic Church of Lansing Michigan and St. Jude Catholic Church in DeWitt Michigan. She was an avid seamstress, quilter and antique collector/restorer. The primary joy in life was her family. Mary was preceded in death by her parents and siblings Madeliene, Edward, Gerald, Robert, and Bobby. She is survived by her devoted husband Richard M. Hall; brother, Charles J. (Nancy) Miller; loving children: Karen L (David) Hunsaker, R. Stephen (Amber) Hall, Cynthia S. (Mitchell) Maher, Thomas A. (Lesley) Hall; and grandchildren Madeline and Mark Hunsaker, Richard and Nicholas Maher,and Brianna and Nathanael Hall. Mary Lou will be missed by all, but especially her bridge group of Maxine Sanford, Colleen Francis, Pat Browning, Mary Jane Grasser and Doris Clark. The Memorial Mass will be celebrated, Tuesday, September 25 at 11:00 a.m. at Catholic Community of St. Jude, 801 N. Bridge Street, DeWitt, with the Rev. Father Dwight M. Ezop as celebrant. Family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service at the church.
