Mark Thomas, 62, went home to be with our Lord on December 28, 2022. Born on December 24, 1960, he made quite the entrance into this world. Mark enjoyed spending time with his family working on the family farm and anything MSU, (green was in his blood).
He was preceded in death by his mother, Janet (Gibbs) Duty, his stepdad, Rush Duty and his grandparents Herbert and Esther Gibbs. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Beth (Tirdel) Thomas, his sons Michael and Kyle (Chelsea) Thomas, his brother Keith (Peggee) Duty, sister Sheryl (Jerry) Hulet, uncle, Herbert (Marilyn) Gibbs Jr, many cousins, nieces and nephews, and his grandpuppies, Papaya, Meisha and Honey.
Per Mark’s wishes, there will not be a memorial service. He wanted everyone to celebrate his life in their own way.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in his name to, Fresenius Kidney Care, 2601 Coolidge Road, Suite A, East Lansing, MI 48823 or the McLaren Hospice Center in Lansing.
