Marcia R. Andrews

Marcia R. Andrews, age 85, passed away on September 2, 2024, in East Lansing, Michigan. Born on April 26, 1939, in Batavia, New York, Marcia was known for her vibrant spirit and a profound love for gardening, cooking, and reading. She was particularly celebrated for her baking skills, often delighting her nephew Michael with cookies during tax season.

Marcia achieved significant professional recognition, having earned the prestigious Certified Professional Secretaries certificate, a testament to her dedication and expertise in her field.

She leaves behind a loving family, including her beloved husband Richard Andrews, her siblings Stephen (Connie), Donna (Dennis), and James (Glenda), as well as her nieces and nephews Michael, Michele, Maria, Todd, Jon, David, Jennifer, and Melissa. Marcia was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Amelia Weller.

Visitation will be held at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes Dewitt Chapel on Monday, September 9th from 3 pm to 6 pm. A funeral service is scheduled for 11 am the following day at Calvary Baptist Church, 14769 Wood Rd, Lansing, with a half-hour prior visitation. Burial will immediately follow at Gunnisonville Cemetery.
