I found out by accident that Lynn passed away when her name caught my eye among Mel White's auctions.  I knew Lynn many years ago, when I had a black & white photo processing business at my home.   Lynn was so competent, yet down-to-earth; I remember her arriving in her truck, barefoot with braids, to drop off or pick up photo processing work.  She brought many rolls of film with images of her dogs that I printed.  I remember meeting Max, a special Bluetick Coonhound.  When she finished building her barn I was delighted to be invited to a party she hosted at her farm with friends who came out to see the barn and enjoy her hospitality and roasted brots around a fire.  I later got out of the photo business and lost touch with Lynn, but I remember her fondly and was sad to learn of her passing.   May her memory be a blessing to all who knew her.

I knew Lynn since high school. We've kept in touch since, up to 5 days before her passing. I just found out on July 9, and had a weird feeling when she didn't respond to my last few emails. I'm shattered. Lynn was a very unique person. Energetic, artistic, an animal lover, an amateur naturalist, a woodworker, a lover of photography and always open to the latest technology. I value her friendship and memory beyond measure. Bruce Gillett

My name is Cassie, I’ve been Lynn’s housekeeper for about the last 7years. I just learned of her passing today, My heart aches…Lynn was the most Authentic, Hardworking,Strong, Talented Woman I have ever met! She  truly was  one-of-a-kind! My heart goes out to her family and friends♥️This is her re-roofing that amazing barn she built! She was amazing!! I will miss our monthly meetings,Until we meet again my friend 🌻

It was in the 1990s when my husband learned his half-sister, Lynn, whom he never met, lived in Haslett. We live in California and visited her at her home. Lynn showed us the barn she built, gave us a ride in a cherry-picker used to finish the barn roof, and showed us her horses and her dogs. What a wonderful person! Since then, my husband, Greg, has been in constant communication with Lynn. We are saddened to learn of her passing. Sending condolences and prayers to her family. So sad to learn today that Lynn has passed. She was such an enspiration.  Lynn was unparalleled in her love for nature and her individuality. We love you Aunt Lynn, rest in piece.

Lynn and I were neighbors and classmates.   She was truly an extraordinarily  talented individual.
