Leah Ray Kromer, born on October 4, 2023, left this world on October 19, 2023, cradled in the loving arms of her parents and surrounded by her family. Leah was born with a heart condition that was diagnosed even before her birth, and though her time on Earth was just 15 days, her impact was profound. During her stay at the U of M hospital, Leah had the privilege of feeling her parents' love as they read to her, smiled at her, and held her close, providing comfort and nourishment.
Leah had the joy of meeting her big brother and spending precious moments with her family. Her memory will forever be engraved in the hearts of her parents, Garrett and Stephanie Kromer; her adoring brother, Henry Kromer; her loving grandparents, Kim and Todd Ringler, and Jim and Terese Kromer; her great-grandparents, Cheryl and Dale Ringler, and Beverly Kromer; her aunts, Gabrielle Kromer and Gretchen Ringler; her uncle, Jason Ringler; and her cousins, Hazel and Violet Ringler.
The Kromer family extends their deepest gratitude to the entire staff at the U of M Children's Hospital and the Ronald McDonald House for their unwavering care and support during Leah's journey.
A celebration of Leah's life will be held on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 from 3 to 6 pm at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Home Dewitt Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Ronald McDonald House, 1600 Washington Heights, Ann Arbor, MI 48104.
Although Leah was held in our arms for a brief time, she will forever reside in our hearts, where her memory will be cherished and cherished always.
