In loving memory of Julianne Kelley, a remarkable woman whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. On October 26, 2023, at age 80, Juilanne joined her husband's side in heaven. Julianne was born in Kawkawlin Township near Bay City, Michigan on February 19, 1943. She previously worked for Tops in Toys home parties, Mijo's Restaurant, Theio's Restaurant, and helped run her son's stores, Richie's Playhouse and the Mega Mall. Julie enjoyed showing her kitties, Heavenly Blue Angel and Sweet Suzi Q at cat shows for several years and won many ribbons and awards. She also enjoyed treasure hunting for items at garage sales to resell in her vendor booths, crocheting, knitting and working in her beautiful flower gardens. Her favorite thing to do was spend time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her smile would light a room whenever they were around.
Julie is preceded in death by her parents, John and Sarah (Kelpenski) Peplinski; loving husband of 44 years, Richard Kelley Sr.; siblings, John, Stanley, Marion, Michael, Leona, Bernadette, Josephine, and Paul; and step-brother, Albert. Surviving to cherish her memories are her brother, Nick Peplinski; sisters, Pauline (Jerry) Wisniewski and Sophia Quinn; and sister in-law, Eileen Peplinski. Julie is also survived by her children, Dawn (Matthew) Moline, Scott Kelley and Richard L Kelley Jr.; grandchildren, Jonathon (Kathy) Gates, Krista (Ryan Sevenski) Rogers, Selina (Jason) Fish, Gavin Kelley, Kimberlee Kelley and Melissa Kelley; great-grandchildren, Abigail Brozek, Mya Brozek, Matthew Rogers, Bella Rogers, Lolah Sevenski, Adelaide Fish and Coco Fish; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
A memorial to celebrate Julie’s life will be held on Saturday, November 18th, 2023 at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Home at 205 E. Washington Street in Dewitt, MI. Come at your leisure from 1:00 p.m to 4:00 pm.
