Judith is preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, Denny Vanek and Jack Freeman; sisters, Janice Lowe, Jackie Johns; and son-in-law, Doug Powers. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Denny Jr., Debbie Powers, and David; sister, Julianne Hebert; 6 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Judy loved spending time with family and friends. She was the founder of the baby animal tent for the Clinton County 4H Fair, and was a long time resident of DeWitt, MI. Judy was a master of all kinds of crafts and baking and she shared this love with others. Judy loved animals and raised many different kinds over the years. She was always a very busy person and her favorite motto was "She who rests, rusts".
Services for Judy will be held on Oct. 22, 2018 at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, DeWitt Chapel at 1 p.m. with a one hour visitation prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Great Lakes Hospice Care, and Capital Area Humane Society.
