Joyce Carole (Martin) Perry, age 82 of DeWitt Michigan, passed away on December 25, 2020. Joyce was born in Lansing Michigan on February 16, 1938. Her parents, Robert and Thelma (Burwell) Martin and her brother, Robert Martin preceded her in death. She graduated from Eastern High School in 1956. Joyce married the love of her life, Hugh Perry on April 15, 1958. He preceded her in death in 1995. Also, was preceded in death by Joyce and Hugh’s first born child, Nancy Lou Perry and granddaughter, Star Alaine Varner. Joyce is survived by her three children, Karen Perry of Owosso, John (Denise) Perry of Laingsburg, and James Perry of DeWitt; loving niece, Kitty Burgess of Lansing; three grandchildren, Casie Perry, Kylee Perry, and Brandon (Makayla) Varner; great-grandson, Jayce Varner. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews and beloved friends and neighbors. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 from 11:00 am to 1:00 PM followed by a 1:00 PM Funeral Service at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, DeWitt Chapel. Pastor Wes Emerson will officiate. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Lansing.
