Jeff loved cheering on the Spartans and spending time with his best friend, Dennis. He enjoyed fishing and metalwork and his beloved Jack Russell Terriers. Prior to his illness, Jeff worked for Professional Metal Works.
Jeff will be dearly missed by his parents, Virginia Tucker and William "Bill" Roger (Janet) Schafer; siblings, William "Bill" Gaylord Schafer and Deborah Kay (Alex) Shaw; brother-in-law, Bryan Branstrom; aunts, Jackie Millard, Janet Kay Maher and Kathy Schafer; uncle, Robert (Robin) Peel; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Glenn and Charlotte Peel and William and Frances Schafer; uncle, Raymond Schafer; sisters, Lorraine "Lori" Branstrom and Sandra Tucker; stepfather, David Tucker; and his best friend, Dennis Marcusse.
A memorial service for Jeff will be held on Friday, August 11, 2023 at 2pm. The family will receive guests for visitation beginning at 1pm at Gorsline Runciman Dewitt Chapel.
