He was born on December 7th, 1957 at Saginaw General Hospital in Saginaw, MI to Jack Elmer McKeage and Barbara Ann McKeage, who have both preceded him in death.
Jim graduated from St. Charles High in 1978. He and his family lived in St. Charles, MI for many years until they moved to Laingsburg, MI where he continued his career with Granger Construction. While at Granger, Jim received numerous awards for his professional skills. In his spare time, Jim enjoyed fishing, hunting, boating & camping and spending time with his family.
Jim married Lynda Kreager on March 14th, 1981. They had two girls, Abbie (Matt) McFadden and Timery (Corey) Smith and five grandchildren, Ethan, Andi, Liam, Josie and Evelyn. Jim had four living siblings, Pam, John, Jeff and Ann. Preceding him in death are his parents, Jack and Barbara McKeage and two siblings, Sue McKeage and Jerry McKeage.
A visitation for Jim will be held on Friday, February 16, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes DeWitt Chapel, 205 E Washington St., DeWitt, MI 48820, followed by a memorial service at 11:00 AM.
