Irma Jean " Aunt Jeanie" Clark

Irma Jean “Aunt Jeanie” Clark passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 12, 2017 in Lansing, Michigan. She was born in DeWitt, MI to the late Floyd and Nora (Ribby) Clark, and spent much of her life in the DeWitt area. When she wasn’t working as a nurse, Irma loved to travel – covering the globe many times over in her travels. Upon her return, she would scrapbook all her photos and mementos from the trip to create beautiful keepsakes of her time away from home.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her nephew, Steve Clark, her brother, Maurice Clark, and her sister, Thelma Whitaker.

She will be lovingly remembered by her brother, Lynford Clark; her nieces and nephews, Aron (Linda) Whitaker, Annette (Ron) Beery, Christina (Leane) Clark, Michael (Deanna) Clark, Jeff (Stefanie) Clark, Tim (Jennifer) Clark, Darci Clark, Melissa (Michael) Demps, Scott (Sarah) Clark, and Doug (Erin) Clark; and many great-nieces and great-nephews.

A memorial gathering will be held to celebrate Irma’s life on Sunday, January 22, 2017 from 2:00pm until 4:00pm at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, DeWitt Chapel, 205 E. Washington, DeWitt.

In Irma’s honor, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice House of Mid-Michigan.
