Gwen Susann (Lyon) Lange, age 81, of Dewitt, Michigan passed away on Friday, June 23, 2023. She was born November 3, 1941, the seventh of nine children of Claude and Minnie Lyon. She was a lifelong member of Emanuel First Evangelical Lutheran Church.
Surviving are her daughters, Susan (Gary) Martin and Karen (Matthew) Hoedeman; grandchildren, Greg (Erika) Martin, Eric (Kerri) Martin, Eris (Stephen) Simmons, Hailey Martin (Chris Oberle), Alicia (Kaleb) Riley, Jessica (Andy) Grove, and Jason Hoedeman; sixteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Frederick Lange.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, June 29, 2023 at Emanuel First Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1001 N. Capitol Ave, Lansing, Michigan. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes DeWitt Chapel from 2-4 and 6-8 pm on Wednesday, and at church on Thursday from 10:00 am until the time of service.
