Graduated DeWitt High School in 1942. Married to Robert L. Hurd on October 1st, 1942. Since then she was a homemaker and mother to John (Jackie) Hurd, David (Judy) Hurd, Gerald Hurd, Charles (Teresa) Hurd, Paul Hurd, and Mary Ann Colgan. Frances lived in Mid-Michigan area all her life and on the Hurd homestead since 1964. She was a member of Woodview Church of Nazarene, Sunday School Teacher for over 40 years.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, July 27th, 2021 at 9:30am at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Home, DeWitt Chapel, 205 E. Washington, DeWitt, MI 48820. Her body will be buried in Hurd Cemetery but her soul has gone to meet Jesus.
In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Frances' memory may be made to Woodview Nazarene Missionary Society, 1500 E. State Rd., Lansing, Michigan 48906.
