Duane lived in Lansing his entire life and worked as a printer at John Henry for over forty years. His hobbies included playing golf and taking trips in his Model A and Model T. For many years he served on the board of the R.E. Olds Transportation Museum and was a member of the Model A Club and Model T Club.
He was always willing to lend a hand and could turn any moment into a memorable one with his light-hearted mischief.
Surviving are his wife, Carolyn Wells; children, Mindy Spina, Mark Wells, and Marti (Tim) Thelen; grandchildren, Jeff Thelen, Michael Thelen, Joshua Wells, Tanya Nantroup, Heidi Wells, Kristopher Wells, and Alex Thelen; many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Memorial service at Gorsline Runciman DeWitt Chapel, 205 E. Washington St., Saturday, October 21 at 1 p.m.
