Donna Marie Reed, 53, passed away on Saturday, February 9, 2019 in Lansing, Michigan. Born August 16, 1965 in Lansing, Donna’s big heart and caring spirit will never be forgotten. She was known to pay it forward to countless drive-thru customers behind her, to organize clothing drives for victims of natural disasters, and even fill up the tanks of other drivers at the gas station.
Donna was a sponge for knowledge, and could spend hours researching and gaining insight into many different subjects. She loved music – especially rock and roll, bluegrass, and old county songs. She loved to cook anything, bake anything, and garden. Her love for dogs and cats was unmatched… except by her love of sloths.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Eileen Jo Dugan.
Her memory will be cherished by her husband of 20 years, Michael “Mike” Reed; her children, Morgan and Sami Musser; her father, George Dugan; her mother, Jeannette (Arnold) Dugan; her brother, George Dugan; and her best friend Linda Morris.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, February 15, 2019 at 11:00am at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, DeWitt Chapel, 205 E. Washington St. in DeWitt. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Rose Cemetery in Bath.
In honor of Donna, memorial contributions may be made to the Capital Area Human Society.
