Anne Helen Beck

Anne was born on March 15, 1929, the daughter of Anna and Michael Riffner and passed away on January 20, 2018, at the age of 88. Anne enjoyed and tutored children as a teacher’s aide. Anne was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church and was very active through the years. She liked to create and make crafts, including making origami and knitting caps for Sparrow Hospital Neo-Natal unit. Anne was an avid reader. She loved to cook and really loved her cats. Anne was very devoted to her children and their families. Anne was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace, in 1978, and her parents. Surviving to cherish her memory are her children, Mary Margaret (John) Lazar, Patrick (Debra) Beck, Steve (Roni) Beck; grandchildren, Deborah Beck, Patrick (Leigh) Chick, Brian (Ashley) Beck, Michael Beck, Katie Beck; great grandchildren, Hunter Chick, Colter Chick, Ember Chick; sister, Carolyn (Bill) Lydon. In lieu of flowers, contribution may be made to the DeWitt Library, 13101 Schavey Rd., DeWitt, MI 48820. Memorial service will take place February 3, 2018 at 11:00 am at St. Therese of Lisieux Parish, 102 W. Randolph St., Lansing, Michigan.
