William Logsdon

William "Bill" Logsdon of Des Plaines. Visitation for William "Bill" Logsdon, 77, will be on Wednesday, from 3 to 9 p.m. at Oehler Funeral Home, 2099 Miner St. (Northwest Highway/Route 14 at Rand Road), Des Plaines. Prayers will be said at 9:15 a.m. Thursday, at the funeral home, proceeding to St. Zachary Church, 567 W. Algonquin Road, Des Plaines, for Mass at 10 a.m. Interment will be in All Saints Cemetery. Born July 20, 1933, in Oklahoma City, Okla., he passed away Sunday, Feb. 13, 2011, at his residence, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Mr. Logsdon was president of the B.P. Automotive Parts Company. He is survived by his wife, Rosalie (nee Restivo); children, Philip (Laurie) Logsdon, Susan (Darryl) Lesniak and LeeAnn (Thomas) McCartney; and grandchildren, Vincent, Nicholas and Leah Logsdon, Brooke and Brad Lesniak, Alyssa, Amanda and James William McCartney. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Maxine Poirier and Robert Logsdon. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society .
