Sharon L. Jacob

Sharon L. Jacob (nee Walsh), 80 of Niles, IL was born on February 25, 1942 In Cleveland, Ohio and passed away December 28, 2022. Sharon was preceded in death by her husband, James Jacob, son Kevin Jacob and mother Margaret Walsh. Sharon was the loving mother of James Jacob, Michael Jacob, and Kathy (Richard) Jacob; Cherished grandmother to Matthew Jacob.

Sharon was a giving and kind person that always gave more than she had to those she loved. She was a devout workaholic for many years. She was able to finally retire and get to enjoy her life. Sharon spent the past 11 years living in an assisted living facility where she donated her time whenever she could and made amazing friends. She was active in the community, whether she was taking part in committees, working at the sundries store within the community when she could or taking Spanish lessons.

She was loved by many, she touched all those who crossed her path and she will be deeply missed by anyone that had the pleasure of her presence.

A visitation for Sharon will be held Wednesday, January 4, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Oehler Funeral Home, 2099 Miner Street, Des Plaines, IL 60016, followed by a funeral service from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM.
