Sara Ann Hennessy of Des Plaines. Sara Ann Hennessy, 60, was born Feb. 21, 1952, in Racine, Wis., to the late Edward and Ellen Fliss, and passed away Nov. 6, 2012, after a long battle with pancreatic cancer. Sara was the beloved wife of Larry Hennessy for 36 years; loving mother of Julie, Lori, Ryan (future daughter-in-law Nicki) and Uriel; daughter-in-law to Nancy and the late Martin Hennessy; caring sister of John Fliss, Monnie (Michael) Vena, Tony Fliss and Margaret Fliss; and kind aunt, sister-in-law, cousin and friend to many. She will be greatly missed by all. Visitation from 12 noon to 6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, at Oehler Funeral Home, 2099 Miner St. (Route 14 at Rand Road), Des Plaines, IL 60016. Funeral and interment to take place at the family plot in Racine at a later date.
