Rita L. Granda (nee Kobza), 94, of Des Plaines, IL (formerly of Dolton) was born April 14, 1928 , in South Chicago to the late Louis and Irene (nee Maday) Kobza and passed away peacefully December 11, 2022.
She was married to the late Henry Granda for 52 years. Loving mother of Susan (Bill) Roehrick, Ellen (Dan) McGowan, and Karen Granda (John Mrowiec). Beloved grandmother of Jacqueline, Courtney, Russell, Kerry, Stephen, and Lydia. G.G. to five great-grandchildren and fond aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Rita had a zest for life; was a friend to all; and shared a passion for games especially pinochle, bingo and bowling.
