Marie D. Hellweg, 81 of Mt. Prospect, was born on May 3, 1935 to the late Herbert and late Gertrude Griem and passed away December 31, 2016 in Arlington Heights. Marie was the beloved wife of late Siegfried Hellweg; loving mother of Brian (Kristen) Hellweg, Elizabeth (Brian) Vrabel and the late Robert Hellweg; devoted grandmother of Samantha (Zachary) Knobloch, Jessica (Seth) Heinbaugh, Erinn Hellweg, Jake Vrabel and Emilie Vrabel; caring great grandmother of Aleah and Liam; dear sister of Trudi Neal and the late Charles Griem.
