She was employed by Sara Lee Corporation for over 20 years and retired in 1978. She loved her card games with friends and family playing everything from Bridge and Poker to a family favorite 3-13.

Peggy was still active in a bowling league at 90.

She will always be remembered for her loving, caring, kindness and generosity.

Visitation will be held Thursday July 5 from 4-8 pm at Oehler Funeral Home, 2099 Miner St (corner of Northwest Hwy/Rt14 and Rand Rd) Des Plaines. The funeral service will be held Friday July 6, 11:00am at the funeral home. Internment at Ridgewood Cemetery

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or St. Jude’s Hospital in her name.
