but to us she was ama she was the best person I ever knew. I remember this one time she fell and I was right next to her making sure she was ok people always they are better in heaven, but it doesn’t feel that way I miss her every day. She sadly passed away four years ago, and I still can’t wrap around how God could take her, but I am so happy that it was allowed to spend time with her and be her granddaughter

The very first time I met Karen, I knew I was meeting someone incredibly special! Our close friendship & bond lasted over 49years! Through those years we shared all that life handed us, the great times,the good times & the sad times. Karen didn't ask for what life handed her the past 17 years, but I never knew anyone stronger, more dignified & with the most positive attitude!  I told Karen she was the sister of my soul! We spoke almost every day since I moved right down the street from her, visiting & having coffee  several days a week. She was always there for me with just the right words of comfort & support. I love you Karen,  & miss you so much! I know you are in Heaven & God is so very proud of you & the beautiful person in every way you were here on Earth! Until we meet again, my soul sister!

Karen was a wonderful, kind sister in law.
I remember talking on the phone at 11 or 11:30  most nights.  Doug would always  say you can’t call that late and I would always  say it’s Karen she’s up.
I have missed those late night calls.
I will miss you.
PS She was the only one to lend me her car when no one else would (I was a teenager)

We have had the blessing of knowing Karen for over 40 years. She was a friend to our whole family. Karen was always full of life, energy, good will and hope. Our world has lost one of its best citizens, but heaven is  now an even more welcoming place with Karen  there to greet us.
