Joan was the beloved wife of the late Stanley Niebr. Adored mom of Cathy Niebr, Betsy (Jim) Brown, and Suzanne (Jeff) Cramer. Dear sister of John (Ann) Prather, the late Lois (Dennis) Pittelkau , and the late Reverend Edward Prather. Cherished sister-in-law of George and Joan A. Niebr.

Loving grandma of Jonathon (Cramer), Kayla (Roszkiewicz), Robert (Roszkiewicz), and James (Brown). Loving aunt of Maria (John) Dwyer, Laura (David) Greenwell, Paul Prather, Ron (Wendy) Pittelkau, Patrick (Ellen) Prather, and Michele Prather.

Visitation will be Monday, January 13, 2020 from 3-8 pm at Oehler Funeral Home, 2099 Miner Street, Des Plaines, IL. Prayers will be said Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at 9:15 am at Oehler Funeral Home, proceeding to Mass at St. Emily Catholic Church, 1400 E. Central Rd. Mount Prospect, IL 60056 at 10:00 am. Interment will be at All Saints Cemetery, 700 N. River Rd. Des Plaines, IL 60016.
