Joan "Sissy" Bratu

Born August 6, 1933, in Chicago, to the late Mary (nee Dowling) and the late George Kundert, cherished wife of John for 67 years and sharing a life together that spanned 73 years. Adored mother of Cathy Bratu (the late John Walejeski), Dr. Mary Ellen Bratu (John Happel), Donna (Norm) Wurz, and Laura Bratu; loving grandmother of Jason (June), Tim, and Melissa Happel and Matthew Wurz (Josh Dettwiller); dear great grandmother of Jaden, Valis, and Jacob Happel; loving sister of the late Eddie Kundert (the late Penny), her loving twin, the late Eugene “Brudy” Kundert, the late Catherine Martin, and Mary Maug (the late John); fond aunt of many nieces, nephews and cousins and a friend to everyone she met.
