Hang K. Lee

Rev. Hang K. Lee passed away on Tuesday, July 25, 2023.

Hang Koo was the husband to wife, Hwa Ja and father to sons, Noel, Kent (Melissa), and James (deceased). He was grandfather to Sophia, Mayah, and Josiah.

Hang Koo was also a brother to Geum Rae Yoon (Deceased), Geung Goo Lee, Jung Sook Jung, Young Sook Han (deceased), and Chung Hyung Huh.

Rev. Hang Koo was called into ministry and ordained in 1999. He was also a Major in the Korean Army, Viet Nam Veteran, business owner and manager.

Visitation and remembrance service will be Tuesday, August 1, 2023 from 6-7PM at Oehler Funeral Home, 2099 Miner Street, Des Plaines, IL. followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 7PM. A funeral service will be on Wednesday, August 2, 2023 at 10 AM at Oehler Funeral Home, followed by a graveside service at Ridgewood Cemetery, 9900 N. Milwaukee, Ave. Des Plaines, IL.
