Incredibly sad to be writing this. My first true love in life, I cannot believe you're gone. The memories I have with you will be with me forever. Even though we haven't kept in touch recently I can feel that a piece of my heart is broken forever. God bless you Erin. Love you!

Happy Birthday Erin. I think of you every day and see so many signs that you're still with us. I'm a better person for having known you. I think of our days in college, and how we were going to change the world together. Those were such great times.... I feel lucky, in that I think you and I were able to cram a life time of memories into 20 years. I'm so grateful that in the last year we were able to spend time together and enjoy each other's company and just reminisce.... You reminded me of lots of memories I'd forgotten, thank you for that. I owe you so much. Thank you for always believing in me, for understanding me, listening to me and being there for me, for caring. If I can't have you in my life, then I'll take you looking over me.  You and Ryan, together again, God bless you. I'll never forget you and I'll keep your memory near to my heart until I see you again.

To the Coughlin and Hildebrand  Families,
I am a long time friend of Eileen Hildebrand Bobowski, Erin's cousin. Eileen shared with me what an amazing cousin she and Mary Beth had in Erin and how beloved she was in the family. Eileen spoke eloquently about Erin's devotion, and selfless care-taking.  
I am so sorry for the loss of this marvelous person.  No doubt she must have been on an express train to heaven.

You are one of my dearest friends and ALways will be.  We've spent so much time as friends; laughing, crying, and loving. You were one of a kind with many lovely quirks that made you so unique and so special.  In life you brought new friends into my life, but now in death you have done the same.  Over the last couple of days I have gotten to know your AMAZING FAMILY and have made some new friends but you know that, maybe it was part of the plan.  Erin love you and always will.  You brought such joy to all our lives!  May your hear us clanking pans on New Years and shine your love on us just a little.  Farewell, my Coughlina!

My deepest condolences to your family and close friends.

For two years. Erin and I would meet to take Meg to her doctor when she was in the early stages of her disease.  We often stopped for lunch before and after with lots of tears and much laughter.  Erin was devoted to Jerry and Meg.  Her gentle, feisty spirit has come full circle as she returns now to a loving God.

Erin was a friend in High School in which we had many classes together, and was on the Pom team with my then girlfriend and now wife.  I have many fond memories of her caring nature and advice that she would give to me in times of Teen age dilemmas.  May she rest in peace.
