Dorothy was the beloved wife of the late Richard Sobey; loving mother of Faith (John) Favale, Hope (Mike) Chiefari, Charity (Ken) Briske, the late Michael (Lora) Sobey and the late Martin Sobey; cherished grandmother of Michelle Sobey, Loren Sobey, Mike (Julie Ann) Sobey, A.J. Favale, Catherine (Brett) Barnes, Matt (Val) Chiefari, Chris (Saira) Chiefari, Lisa Chiefari, Marc (Alexa) Chiefari, Brett Briske, Geoff (Christine) Sobey, Austin (Jenna) Sobey, Mariel Martinez, and Madelyn Sobey ; great-grandmother of 6; dear sister of Mary (Tim) Kriese and the late Robert (Suzette Trigalet) Grishaber.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 28, 2022 from 9 am until time of prayers at 10:45 am at Oehler Funeral Home 2099 Miner St. Des Plaines,IL., 60016, and proceed to Our Lady of Hope Church, 9711 Devon Ave. Rosemont IL., 60018 for mass at 11:30 am. Interment All Saints Cemetery.
