Christine Marie Roder

Christine M. Roder (nee Stressler) passed peacefully on Monday July 22nd, 2024, at the age of 64. She was born in Chicago on October 21st, 1959, to Josephine Stressler (nee Maigler) and the late Aloysius Stressler. Christine was a social butterfly who found friendships with anyone, anywhere. She lit up every room she entered with her joyous smile and infectious personality. She was a natural caretaker who never hesitated to lend a helping hand to family or a friend in need. She had a love for crafting, was an incredible cook and baker, and enjoyed collecting many trinkets.

Christine was the beloved wife to Jeffrey Roder, a loving mother to Samantha and Jean Roder, fond sister to Catherine (late Paul) Kalcsics, late Colleen (John) Jannetto, and Aloysius (Melissa) Stressler, and the dear aunt to many nieces and nephews. She deeply touched the lives of many and will be dearly missed.

A visitation to honor Christine will be held on Wednesday, July 31st, 2024 from 4pm-8pm at Oehler Funeral Home, 2099 Miner Street, Des Plaines, Illinois.
