Alice Helene Petersen

Alice Helene Petersen of Mount Prospect, Illinois was comforted by family as she passed away on April 5th, 2023, in Sun City, Arizona. Everyone who knew Alice, knew how loving and kind she was. Alice lived her life full of joy and positivity, and NEVER missed out on a good time! She was loved by all who were fortunate enough to have met her.

Alice was born in Chicago, Illinois on August 17th, 1939, and met her husband of 63 wonderful years, Ken, when she was 14. Alice's pride and joy were her three sons Kevin, Ken, and Keith. She was blessed with 9 grandchildren Austin, Tayler, Alexis, Sabina, Grant, Justine, Michael, Meagan, and Sean. Alice loved spending time with family and friends, golfing, watching football, playing slots, and going on as many day trips as she could. Her favorite season was Summer, during which she enjoyed living the "Cabin Life" in northern Wisconsin.

Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who survive Alice, including her husband, three sons, daughter-in-law, grandchildren, and abundance of friends and family. She will be missed more than words can express, and was adored completely in her beautiful life.

Please join us on Sunday, April 16th, 2023, from 3:00 PM - 8:00 PM to celebrate the life and legacy of Alice at Oehler Funeral Home, 2099 Miner Street, Des Plaines, Illinois, 60016. The funeral service will follow on Monday, April 17th, 2023 at 12:00 PM at Oehler Funeral Home. Interment will be private.
