Barbara S Doyle

Barbara Doyle, age 83, of DeRidder, LA. passed away on May 9, 2012 at Beauregard Memorial Hospital in DeRidder, LA.

Barbara was born on April 21, 1929 in Lufkin, TX. to the late George and Willie Sharp of Crockett, TX.

Barbara’s hobbies were gardening, cooking, canning and reading. Barbara’s family was a very important part of her life. She loved them all, very deeply. Barbara will be loved and missed by all who knew her.

Barbara was survived by her Son, Billy Clark of DeRidder, LA. And her daughter, Betty Clark Gillon and husband Gary of Glasgow , KY. Brothers, Phillip Sharp and wife Lois of Springfield, MO. Joe Sharp and wife Elaine of Orange, TX. and George Sharp and wife Loretta of Orange, TX. Sisters, Evelyn Zirlott and husband George of Orange TX. Lucy Beal and husband Jearl of Houston, TX. Linda Rubin and husband Irv of Houston, TX. and Ann O’Neal and husband Jeff of Orange, TX. Barbara was also survived by 4 grandchildren, Sherry Semento, Pamela Smith, Billy Clark Jr. Richard Clark and 7 great-grandchildren.

Barbara was preceded in death by her first husband, Richard (R.C.) Clark, her second husband, Gilbert Doyle, Brothers, Virgil Sharp, and Buddy Sharp . And one sister, Sylvia Bolin.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 11, 2012 from 4:00p.m. until 8:00p.m. at Hixson Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. Services will be Saturday, May 12, 2012 at 2:00p.m. at Hixson Funeral Home Chapel in DeRidder, LA. Rodger Gill will be officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in DeRidder, LA. under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home.
