Michael Poole

Orange, Tx. - Michael Shelby Poole, 67, passed away Sunday, February 8, 2015 in his residence.

Mr. Poole lived in Orange, Tx where he was a Plant operator for Shell Petroleum Company. He was an avid C.B. radio operator where his handle was "Pa Kettle". He loved hunting, fishing and playing dominoes with his friends.

He is survived by his son, Mike Poole and wife Charity of San Antonio, Tx.; daughters, Patty Register and husband Todd of Eufaula, Al. and Missy Harget and husband Fred of Starks, La.; sisters, Brenda Smith and husband David, and Vickie Poole all of Starks, La.; 5 grandchildren, Jessica, Cheyenne, Brittany, Caleb and Logan; 3 nephews, Denny, Davy and Todd and his beloved dog Holly. He was preceded in death by his parents, Shelby and Celia Poole and a brother, Dennis Poole.

His funeral service will be at 4:00pm Wednesday, February 11, 2015 in the First Baptist Church in Starks with Rev. Ron Butler officiating. There will be a visitation starting at 2:00pm until service time at the church. Words of comfort may be shared with the family at www.hixsonfuneralhomes.com.
