Michael Anthony Grewenig Sr.

Michael Anthony Grewenig Sr., 71, of DeQuincy, Louisiana passed away on Friday, June 23, 2023 at Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans, Louisiana. He was born to his late parents, Elmer and Ada Grewenig on August 29, 1951 in Joliet, Illinois. Michael enjoyed playing golf and gambling, and watching Westerns. He served in the United States Air Force for 6 years.

He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Patricia "Crazy Aunt Patty" Grewenig; one son, Michael Grewenig, Jr. (Mysty) of Houston, Texas; two step sons, Jerry Johnson of New Orleans, Louisiana, Jeff Johnson of Houston, Texas; granddaughter, Ashley Nicole Brown (Jenner) of College Station, Texas; nieces, Jennifer Procell (Chris) of DeQuincy, Louisiana, Laura Burbage (Chris) of Rockwood, Tennessee; great nieces and nephews, Ashley Hollingsworth (Caleb) of DeQuincy, Louisiana, Cheyanne Parker of DeQuincy, Louisiana, Jake and Brandon Burbage of Tennessee; along with great-great nieces and nephew, Adison and Cooper Hollingsworth and Arrow and Dixie Floyd.

Michael is preceded in death by his parents; along with his sister, Barbara Mendoza.
