Mary “Dianna” Rigmaiden, 72, of DeQuincy, passed away on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at Cornerstone Hospital. She was born to her late parents, Newton and Lewildia Royer on March 1, 1946 in DeQuincy, LA. She loved to read, sew, paint, and enjoyed being with her family and her dog, Duce.
She is survived by her son, Travis Rigmaiden; daughter, Dawn Rainwater and husband Darrell; brother, Larry Royer and wife Nelwyn, all of DeQuincy; three grandchildren, Jake Rainwater and wife Kristen of DeQuincy, Kara Fontenot and husband Patrick of DeQuincy, Dalton Rainwater of Baton Rouge; along with six great grandchildren, Carson, Grant, Reid, Kenley, Sawyer, and Bradley.
Dianna is preceded in death by her loving husband, Thomas Rigmaiden, Jr. along with her parents.
Services will be at Northside Baptist Church on Saturday, August 25, 2018 at 11:00am with Jake Rainwater officiating. Visitation will be at Hixson Snider Funeral Home on Friday, August 24, 2018 from 5:00-8:00pm. Visitation will resume at Northside Baptist Church on Saturday from 9:00am until the time of the service.
