Margaret Holley

DeQuincy- Margaret Holley, 77, passed away March 7, 2010 in a Lake Charles hospital.

She was resident of DeQuincy and a member of Faithworld Ministries.

She is survived by five sons, Joseph "Dunkie" Spears and wife, Debbie of Arkansas, Darrell Spears and wife, Diana, Marvin Leon Spears and Missy, Bobby Dale Spears and wife Dawn, Terry Perkins and wife, Marie all of DeQuincy; three daughters, Jackie Smith and husband Gordon, Evelyn "Sissy" Franklyn and husband, Jessie, JoAnn Cooley and Wayne all of DeQuincy; brothers, Everett Perkins and wife Tene of DeQuincy, Lee Perkins and wife Carly of DeRidder; sisters, Evalena VanWinkle and husband Jeril, Katie Jones all of DeQuincy, Mae Land of DeRidder; 24 grandchildren, and 17 great grandchildren

She was preceded in death by brothers, Marvin Holley, Joe Holley, Cecil Holley, LeRoy Holley and Luther Perkins; one grandson, C.W. Perkins.

Her funeral will be at 2pm Wednesday at Hargrove Bible Baptist Church. The Rev. Eddie Ray Hoosier, Bro. Riggins, and Rev. Paul Nugent will officiate. Burial will be in Good Hope Cemetery under the direction of Hixson-Snider Funeral Home. Visitation will begin Tuesday from 3pm-9pm at the funeral home and Wednesday 11am until service at the church.
