She was born and raised in DeQuincy and had lived in Freeport, Texas before returning to DeQuincy over 50 years ago. Georgia enjoyed playing bingo, hunting, fishing, gardening, and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her children, Kenneth Wayne Robinson (Earline Clostio) of Vinton, Keith Ruston Robinson and wife, Gaye of Vinton, Kevin Frank Robinson of DeQuincy, and Katherine Ann Robinson Richards of Vinton; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Leon Robinson; her sister, Helen Marie Lyons; a son-in-law, Walter Richards; and a grandson, Tommy Robinson.
A Celebration of Georgia's Life will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, January 27, in Hixson-Snider Funeral Home led by Hixson's Celebrant-Jody Barrilleaux. Burial will be in Big Woods Cemetery in Edgerly. Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. Friday and from 8:30 a.m. until the time of service Saturday in the funeral home.
