Charles Lee “Charlie” Wright Sr., 91, of Singer, passed away on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at West Calcasieu Cameron Hospital. He was born February 7, 1926 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He served in the United States Navy for over 20 years. After retirement from the Navy, he got into Law Enforcement where he retired off the Arizona Highway Patrol.
He is survived by his son, Charles L. Wright, Jr. and wife Kerry of Gilbert, AZ, daughter Sandy Albert and husband Eddie of Singer, LA; along with numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Betty Louise Wright; along with two sons, Ricky Glenn Wright and Dicky Ray Wright.
