Carl “Mann” Seelye Jr., passed away on Wednesday, January 7, 2015 in a Texas hospital.
Mr. Seelye was a member of the American Legion. He was in the Army where he retired after 20 years of service.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Seelye, one son; Carl Seelye III and wife Jessica, one step-son; Boyd L. Smith., one daughter; Lila Davis and husband Royal, one step-daughter; Barbara Ashworth, one brother; Ronald Seelye, six sisters; Norma, Mary, Dinky, Millie, Betty and Helen, fifteen grand-children and three great grand-children.
His funeral service will be at 1:00pm Tuesday, January 13, 2015 in Gambrell Baptist Church of Starks. Burial will be in Smith Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, January 12, from 5:00pm until 9:00pm at the church. Words of comfort may be shared with the family at www.hixsonfuneralhomes.com
