Torval Dean Fulsaas was born on June 24, 1932 to parents, Torval E. and Stella May, in Albion, Nebraska. He had a younger brother, Ronald Ray, who passed away in 1970. After graduating from Grand Island High School in 1950, he enlisted in the Air Force in 1951. While in the Air Force, he served overseas in the Korean War. Torval left the service in 1955 and attended business school in Lincoln, Nebraska. He met Betty Wicker at the school and they were married in December of 1956. They left Lincoln, Nebraska in 1959 and moved to Commerce City, Colorado. They had three children, Kathryn May, Susan Marie and Jeffrey Dean. Torval was an office worker at Financial Programs for 14 years and a Catalog Writer/Researcher at Gates Rubber Company for over 20 years. He retired in 1995, form Gates and his only Grandchild, Aaron Morgan Bull was born in 1996. Torval was enjoying retirement when he developed severe dementia in 2004. He resided in several assisted living facilities and a skilled nursing facility, until his death on March 5, 2013. Torval is survived by his three children, Kathryn Fulsaas, Susan Bull and Jeffrey Fulsaas, Son-in-Law, John Bull and Grandson, Aaron Bull.
