Thomas B Martin

Thomas Bell Martin (T, TB or Tom) began his life’s journey on January 17, 1928 in Lake City, South Carolina. He was born to Thomas Bell “Possum” Martin, Sr. and Minnie Luvernia Dicks. He was ushered into his eternal home on January 25, 2015. He was 87 years old.

He is preceded in death by his father and mother; son, Larry Burgess; son, Thomas Kerwin Martin; sister, Annie Ruth Gilyard; and brother, James Martin.

He is survived by his wife, Nellie Martin of Aurora, CO; daughter, Vanessa Heggs of Rhode Island; daughter, Robbin Williams of Virginia; son, Michael and wife Deanna of Florida; son, Brian and wife Lynne Martin of Colorado; son, André Martin of Oklahoma; brother, Robert Martin; sister, Edna Burgess; brother, Harry Martin; sister, Minnie Lee Vault; brother, Moses Martin; brother Melvin Martin; brother Russell Martin; 11 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and special family members.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., with a viewing at 12:00 p.m., on Saturday, January 31, 2015 at Rising Star Missionary Baptist Church, 1500 S. Dayton St., Denver CO 80247.
