Tom and I played quite a bit of golf together (had quite a few beers, too). I quit playing because I wasn't getting any better at it and didn't care to spend money on something I sucked at playing. Hindsight being 20/20, that was the wrong decision. I didn't realize at the time but it shouldn't have been t about money or getting better, it was about spending quality time with someone I had grown to love. Don't make the same mistake I made. Spend all the time you can with those you care about when the opportunity arises because one day, that opportunity will be gone. We miss you, Tommy knocker. I will raise a beer today to the good times we had ...Cheers! (I thought he'd appreciate me sharing this pic of him: A big man using clubs that were way too short, lol)

What a wonderful friend Tom was to Lee and myself.  I know he's in heaven now.  Lee and Tom are having a wonderful time  with Jesus dancing across the beautiful meadows.  

  Tom, you are one of a kind, not many people actually fit that description, but you do. Everything you did, you put in 100%. You carried love, and compassion for others. You took me under your wing when I was a kid, I am forever grateful. What you taught me in conversations about life is priceless. I enjoyed riding around with you listening to stories painted with your sense of humor.  A wonderful family man who loved family and friends wholeheartedly, you are missed. Missed by any of us who had the privilege of knowing you, whether it be for a short time or a lifetime. Rest easy old friend. Some things words just can't cover. You and your family are in my prayers. May god bless, guide and protect Kathy, Kristie, Michael, Jennifer and all of their wonderful spouses and your grandchildren.  I bet you are one heck of a guardian angel, Tom!

       Thanks for encouraging us to get married and standing up with us at our wedding at the little chapel in Vegas!   We have such precious memories of our travels together and enjoying all the great meals!  Tom loved good food and especially my poached eggs! It was Tom's infectious smile and laugh that will forever be with us.   He was a great inspiration to all and a hard act to follow!

Tom was the best man in our wedding -- Lee and Marian Woodward.  Tom and Lee were best friends .   They spent many hours together talking about the Lord and having wonderful fellowship together.   Lee died in 2011 from cancer.  After that Tom, kept in touch with me regularly to make sure that I was doing okay.   He was like a brother to me.   I will miss him greatly.   I am so thankful that Tom and Kathy were our good  friends.  What a wonderful couple they were.  I'm so sorry for your loss, Kathy,  and I know your heart is broken, but know that God will take care of you. 

I didnt know him, but been friends with Kristie for years. My love and prayers to you all. I  only heard what a great man he was.  Again my love and condolences to you all. God Bless!

This picture was taken in the fall of 2018 when  Tom and I had an adventure in SanDiego and Tijuana Mexico to seek some alternative medical treatments. This was taken at the hotel in SanDiego on the beach. Had a great meal and a beer. Tom hadn’t been able to drink a beer in awhile because of his medical condition, but we chose to enjoy the moment! Well worth it!  Good times! Love ya Bro!

So sorry for you loss. It was an honor to know and work with Tom for so many years. Always had a laugh or two with Tom at the annual Duro-Last seminars. Tom was a class act and very well respected. He will be missed. Thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family during this difficult time.


Lots of good memories of Tom, a lot of them on the golf course. But the one memory that I will never forget is when his daughter Kristie (now my wife) first took me over to meet him. He wasn’t exactly cordial at first but I guess I grew on him because before I left there that night, he had told me a joke in which the punch line involved him grabbing my butt. I don’t remember the joke at all but I will always remember that part of the punch line.


I hold so many, many ,memories close to my heart of us all raising our kids together and sharing family celebrations, hilarious dinners and... our very sad losses. We can always count on each other when things get tough. Tom was always there with an encouraging word and helping however he could. He was truly a Faithful Warrior and was God's vessel of miracles to show us that nothing is beyond God's healing reach. Tom, you are missed and loved. Rest in the Light and Peace of God's arms. In the early 70’s ,Tom and his 3 brother in laws and my Dad opened a small men’s clothing store. They  incorporated it under the name “The FAAB Four”. Being,Finnerty,Albee,Allen and Bonham.  (Notice the shirts... styling)!!Lol. Tom was the last of the four to pass. I am sure God has got his hands full with the 5 of them they always had so much fun together!
           So I hope God gives them all a big hug for me because as you joined them Tom an era ended  and a renewed eternity began for you! We miss them all but know we will see you all again!
