Sandra was born in Miami Florida on March 19, 1945. She graduated from East High School, she was nominated the "Best Typist of the Year" in 1962 and 1963. She traveled to Europe, went to a Beatles concert at Red Rocks, lived in Guam, drove across the country from California to Pennsylvania with her infant and toddler, and she flew to several states with Brian Boitano fan club members to watch ice skating shows. She enjoyed watching sports, and soap operas on television.
Survived by her brother Randall L. Dankert Aurora CO; 2 children: Greg (June) Larmer Bellevue NE, Paula (Brent Delehoy) Schlegel Watkins CO; 3 grandchildren: Bobbi (Joshua) Jacobs Aurora CO, Wyatt Schlegel Denver CO, and Alecia Cullom Ames IA; 4 great grandchildren: Pheonix, Liam, Ryder, and Jenevieve; 2 nieces: Cheryl (Bill) Pawelcik, Michelle (Darin) Parker; 3 grandnieces and grandnephews: Shawn (Brandi) Miller, Katie (Cody Ehrlich) Strabala, Emily (Jacob) Dzengel; 3 great grandnieces: Madison Mychelle, Haili Jade and Kamryn Faye; cousin Larry (Barbara) Funk; and numerous cousins and friends.
Preceded in death by her infant brother Dale Alan Dankert (1953), her father Roger Dankert (2008), and her mother Alice (Stainbrook) Dankert (2016).
