Beloved husband, father, grandfather, Richard E. Vaughan born April 10,1934, passed away September 13, 2011. He is survived by mother Mary Bonney, wife Janet (McDonald), children Valerie, Julie, William (Tracy), Edward (Theresa), Kenneth (Linda), Catherine (Michael) Meis, grandchildren Forrest and Kathleen. Preceded in death by stepfather, Charles Bonney, and brother Bryce Bonney. He was born in Durango, Colorado, met and married his wife of 56 years in Leadville, Colorado. He served as a photographer for four years in the army. He worked for Climax Molybdenum in Leadville and Amax in Golden, Colorado. He was a devoted family man, animal lover, and avid artist. He will be truly missed and remain forever in our hearts.
