Patricia “Pat” Ann LaDue, 79, a proud resident of Aurora, CO, passed away November 18, 2020. Patricia was born in Massena, NY on August 8, 1941, the oldest daughter of the late Robert and Genevieve (Brady) LaDue. She is survived by her brothers John (Lee) LaDue and Michael (Carol) LaDue, and sister Jane (Gerald) Layo. She was preceded in death by her brother Robert LaDue and sister Mary (John) Viola.
Pat graduated high school at Massena Central High School, before she proudly entered the United States Air Force serving her country for two different tours totaling 8 years. After an honorable discharge from the Air Force, Patricia committed her service as a civilian in Data Communications for both the Defense Finance and Accounting Center and Computer Sciences Corporation. Pat later retired and used her outgoing personality and sense of humor working part time in the community.
A proud patriot, Pat loved her country, demonstrated by her American Legion Post 1776 membership, even serving as Commander from 1981 – 1982. She was an avid Colorado sports enthusiast especially for the Colorado Rockies and Denver Broncos. Those who knew her, knew how much her sweet neighbors meant to her and the special place in heart she had for Aresia, her incredible care-giver. Pat loved her family including her many nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews and her long-time partner and roommate Betty Lucus who passed away in 2015. Pat will be greatly missed, but she had faith that she would be reunited with her loved ones that passed before her.
Funeral services will be held for Patricia at Olinger Hampden Mortuary, 8600 E Hampden Ave, Denver CO 80231, on December 1st at 2:00 pm. Ultimately being laid to rest at Fort Logan National Cemetery on a future day and time to be announced. Funeral services will be live streamed through the Olinger Hampden Mortuary & Cemetery website.
