Masoud Sabounchi

Masoud graduated with honors from Kansas State University and went on to become a very successful engineer specializing in fire safety. Over his career at the City of Denver and through his ACE Consulting company, his knowledge touched many of the buildings in Denver. In his spare time, Masoud loved fishing and spending time with his family.

He was a kind and loving husband to his wife Soosan, as well as an amazing father to their children Melina and Ryan. One of Masoud’s biggest accomplishments was being a father. He had always wanted children and considered himself lucky to have two. His children, Melina and Ryan were the joy of his life. He was always there for them through their ups and downs and taught them to enjoy every moment life has to offer.

Masoud was a great husband, father, brother, uncle, friend, and colleague. He will be deeply missed by his friends, family, and all who knew him.
