Margaret Catherine Kellogg

Margaret Kellogg, 84, passed away July 1, 2015 at her residence while surrounded by her family. Margaret was born on April 23, 1931 to Henry Dozier and Lelia Harris Dozier. On May 16, 1953 she married Kenneth Kellogg. They had four children, Jeanette, twins Kenneth and Kevin, and Keith. Margaret’s bookkeeping talents were employed by Safeway Stores, Pitney Bowes, Regency Hotel and Barnett Lumber. She loved cooking, baking, singing and her family. While she was the hostess for Calvary Baptist Church, members of the congregation would “hire” her to make pies for them. She mastered the perfect cheesecakes of many flavors and homemade caramels. Margaret enjoyed singing in the choir and also sang with the musical group, Bakers Dozen.

Margaret is preceded in death by her parents; Husband, Kenneth; Son, Kevin; Sisters, Pauline Williams and Martha Smith.

Margaret is survived by her children, Jeanette Kellogg-Wawok (Wayne Wawok) of Arvada, Kenneth Kellogg of Milwaukie, Oregon and Keith Kellogg of Arvada; Grandchildren, Justin Fleming and Zachary Fleming of Arvada; Brother, Hank Dozier of Loveland.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00AM on Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at Olinger Moore Howard Chapel, 4345 West 46th Avenue, Denver, Colorado 80212. Committal Service will follow at 1:15PM at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 3698 South Sheridan Blvd., Denver, Colorado 80235, Staging Area “C”
