Obituary of Laura Lynn Betteridge
IN THE CARE OF

Olinger Hampden Mortuary, Cremation & Cemetery

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Laura Lynn Betteridge, who left us too soon on February 11, 2025. Laura was known for her radiant smile that could light up any room and her warm, loving spirit that touched everyone she encountered. She was a true joy to be around, always sharing her love for life through music, laughter, and kindness.

Laura was a devoted member of her church choir at Rocky Mountain Church of Christ and Meadowlark Church, where she found joy in singing and offering her voice to the worship services. Her love for music extended beyond the church walls, and she often sang with a heart full of passion, whether at home or among friends.

A true Broncos fan, Laura cheered on her team with unwavering enthusiasm, and her loyalty to the game was unmatched. She also had a soft spot for Minnie Mouse, always finding delight in her whimsical charm. A lifelong fan of The Wizard of Oz, Laura’s spirit was as colorful and joyful as Dorothy’s journey along the yellow brick road.

Laura had a deep love for animals and children, always bringing a sense of tenderness and compassion to those around her. Her fondness for roses symbolizes her beautiful and caring heart. She will be remembered for her selflessness, her infectious laughter, and her ability to make those around her feel valued and cherished.

Laura is survived by her brother, Ian; sister, Lisa (Anthony); and brother, David, along with a host of extended family and many friends who loved her dearly. She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Margaret, and brothers, Billy and Matthew.

A memorial service to celebrate Laura’s life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to a charity close to Laura’s heart, The Spina Bifida Colorado Chapter, by visiting https://www.spinabifidaco.org/donate-today/

Laura’s love will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She may no longer be with us in person, but her memory will forever shine brightly, like the smile she shared so freely with the world.
