Julian "Saco" Montoya

November 23, 1936 – April 2, 2018

Born in Trinidad (Sopras), Julian was one of 7 children of Nomita (Romero) and Tobias Montoya.

Julian was an avid fisherman and loved to fish all the local lakes in the area as well as take walks around the lakes. He was also a very talented artist. He was an avid reader of western books. He always kept candy on hand for the neighborhood kids. He was devoted to and loved his immediate family beyond what can be expressed in a few written words and he also loved his very large extended family. Julian will be forever missed and always remembered by all who knew him and loved him.

Julian is survived by his two children, Annette M. Montoya and Julian J. (Michele) Montoya II and four grandchildren; Justine, Vincent, Nicholas and Aaron; 1 great grandchild; Kash Julian Montoya.
