On Saturday, April 10, 2021, Joshua Haileyesus, loving son and eldest sibling to three brothers, passed away at age 12 at Children’s Hospital, Aurora.
Joshua was born on May 15, 2008 in Aurora, CO to Haileyesus Zeryihun and Fasika Aemro. Joshua had a passion for soccer, acting, photography, and cooking. Among his many dreams and aspirations, he had hopes of one day joining the Army. A devoted Christian, Joshua always prayed for others and encouraged people to follow Christ. Though he has shed his physical shell, his vibrant spirit will have everlasting life.
Joshua is survived by his mother, Fasika; his father, Haileyesus; his twin brother, Caleb; and his younger brothers Abenezer and Nathan.
A funeral service to celebrate Joshua’s life will be held on Monday, April 19, 2021 at 10am at Colorado Community Church. Donations can be sent through a GoFundMe organized on behalf of the family.
